Apr 01, 2013 - Visited North Kellyville and had a look at all available Land
Apr 02, 2013 - Picked a Land (Lot 508) and checked with Rawson Homes if Seaview 36 can be built on the land.
Apr 08, 2013 - After much discussions with Rawson homes regarding the slope on the lot 508 and the cost to elevate the house to be above the road level, decided that its cost effective to go with another lot.
Apr 10, 2013 - Finally decided on the land (Lot 521) and placed a holding deposit with Castlehaven Realtors.
Apr 10, 2013 - Applied for Refinance of existing home loan. Got a good deal with the interest rates. Well At least I hope I did.
Apr 16, 2013 - Paid the initial $950 to Rawson Homes for the house.
Apr 21, 2013 - Met the Sales Guy at Rawson Homes to go through all the standard inclusions and possible changes to the house. Couldn't believe the cost to extend the house by a meter (around $10K) and finally decided its not worth spending that much.
Glad we are going with the 35th Anniversary Package as it will cover some of the upgrades.
Apr 23, 2013 - Emailed the list of changes to the Sales guy at Rawson. Awaiting to discuss the changes further.
Apr 27, 2013 - Discussed with the sales guy at Rawson Homes the possibility of upgrading to Seaview 39 and the cost involved.
Apr 29, 2013 - Decided that we will go with Seaview 39 instead of 36. Sent the changes to the En suite , Master Bedroom, WIR to the Sales Guy. Waiting for the Tender.
May 07, 2013 - Tender Presentation Booked for Monday the 13th of may.
May 13, 2013 - Had the Tender Presentation. Was told that the house will sit below the road level in this block.

May 22, 2013 - Met Gary Lee from Ray White Castle Hill to have a look at the land at Curtis Road.
May 23, 2013 - Met the conveyancer and provided the Contract of sale for 13 Curtis Road, Kellyville and discussed the process with the conveyancer. Was very helpful
May 23, 2013 - Paid an initial deposit of 0.25% of the total land price. Happy that i negotiated for the price to be reduced by 1000.
May 24, 2013 - Elizabeth from the Conveyancing office called and walked me thorugh the contract and explained all covenants. Was advised all good to sign off.
May 27, 2013 - Applied for the bank loan for the land purchase.
May 30, 2013 - House Valuation was done by a valuer for the mortgage for the land.
May 31, 2013 - All valuations came back strong and with the amount i suggested.
Jun 04, 2013 - Received Unconditional Offer letter for the loan on the land from Westpac.
Jun 08, 2013 - Received the signed Stat Dec for name misspell issue of Vendor. Cross checked with the conveyancer and all came OK.
June 13, 2013 - Hurray.... Paid a 5% deposit on the land. Lot 107, 13 Curtis Road, Kellyville. Now the land is Ours..... Sooon (January 2014)
